How do I celebrate?

Throughout the Week:

  • Anytime you post to social media, make sure to include the hashtag #TriWeek in order to be considered for prize pack giveaways and more!
    • Daily prize pack giveaways will be selected by the USA Triathlon voting committee, who will select their favorite entry from all submissions each day.
  • Don’t have time to participate? Donate $20 to the USA Triathlon Foundation to provide the opportunities for every child to participate, every paratriathlete to compete, and every youth athlete to chase his or her Olympic dream.
  • What’s your finish line? Share your story about your personal journey to reach a goal that is important to you, and how the sport of triathlon has helped you to achieve that goal for a chance to win a USA Triathlon Lifetime Membership. Simply use #TriWeek and #WhatsYourFinishLine and tag us @usatriathlon for a chance to win, or submit your story via email at marketing@usatriathlon.org with the Subject line, "What's Your Finish Line?".

Monday, June 24 – Swim Day

If you have 5 minutes:

  • Share your favorite tip for improving your swim.
  • Share your favorite photo of you and a friend swimming or hanging out at swim start on our @usatriathlon Swim Day Contest social media posts. Use #triweek for a chance to win a ROKA gift card! 

If you have 30 minutes:

  • Define your own finish line. What are your goals for this year? Tag us @usatriathlon and tell us about it on your social channels with the hashtag #triweek.
  • Catch our video feature story on 86-year-old super triathlete Molly Hayes on our USA Triathlon Facebook page
  • Need to cut some time off your swim? Check out our Find a Coach tool and get started today!

If you have an hour or more:

  • Go for a swim and share with us! Pictures, video, and distance are all encouraged. Tag us @usatriathlon and use the hashtag #triweek.

Tuesday, June 25 – Bike Day

If you have 5 minutes:

  • Send a shout out to recognize the officials and volunteers who spend their time making sure you get to compete in a fair and safe event!
  • Share your favorite tip for improving your bike skills.
  • Share a photo of the coolest place you've gone biking and use the hashtag #triweek for a chance to win a 2XU Gift Card. 

If you have 30 minutes:

  • Tag us @usatriathlon and tell us why you love your bike, using the hashtag #triweek.

If you have 30 minutes:

  • What's your favorite run course? USA Triathlon Race Directors have some amazing ones around the country – share with us which one you like the best with the hashtag #triweek!
  • See how triathlon has grown at the collegiate level with our Women's Collegiate Triathlon highlight video on our USA Triathlon Facebook page
  • What's your favorite song to listen to while you run? Share your answer with us on social @usatriathlon and use #triweek for a chance to win a pair of Newton Running shoes!
  • Go to USATStore.com and check out the latest USA Triathlon gear!

If you have an hour or more:

  • Take advantage of the summer weather, get outside and go for a run! Bring a friend, and send us a photo on social media @usatriathlon with the hashtag #triweek. 

 

Thursday, June 27 – Time to Tri Day

If you have 5 minutes:

  • Encourage all of your non-triathlete friends to get involved. The sport of triathlon will change their lives!
  • Tell us about the biggest newbie triathlon mistake you made during your first triathlon. If you have photos, even better! Tag us @usatriathlon and use the hashtag #triweek.

If you have 30 minutes:

  • Tell us about someone you know that is a newcomer to the sport. Is it you? 
  • Repond to our Time to Tri Day Contest social media post and tag a friend you'd love to do a triathlon with. Tell them why and use the hashtag #triweek for a chance to win a 2XU Time to Tri cycling kit!
  • Check out our Facebook and Twitter pages @usatriathlon for our story on elite and age group triathletes giving advice to newbies!

Friday, June 28 – Member Appreciation Day

If you have 5 minutes:

  • Share your favorite moments from your triathlon/multisport career.
  • Watch USA Triathlon CEO Rocky Harris give a special message to members on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages @usatriathlon. 
  • Respond to our Member Appreciation Day Contest post on social media and tell us what you love about the sport of triathlon! Use #triweek for a chance to win a Science in Sport USA Triathlon bundle. 

If you have 30 minutes:

  • Learn more about the amazing work our USA Triathlon Foundation does to support athletes with our Facebook Live interview with Foundation Director Dave Deschenes! 

If you have an hour or more:

  • Share your “What’s your finish line?” story for a chance to win a USA Triathlon lifetime membership. Saturday, June 29 - Sunday, June 30 - Race Weekend

If you have 5 minutes:

  • Send a good luck note to anyone you know who is competing this weekend.
  • Find races in your area and sign up for an event in the coming months.

If you have 30 minutes:

  • Send us a list of your pre-event playlist!
  • Have you had a funny or embarrassing moment at a race? Chances are, we all have. Respond to our Race Weekend contest post on social media and share your story! Use #triweek in your answer for a chance to win a comped race entry fee. 

If you have an hour or more:

  • Send us photos of your triathlon – even if you are not competing, share your triathlon experience of the day. Just grab some friends and SWIM, BIKE and RUN!
  • Check out our USA Triathlon sanctioned race calendar and start planning your next race vacation in 2019 or 2020!
