Notification for Selection: Athletes interested in tryouts for Men’s and Women’s ANOC World Beach Games Teams

USA Beach Handball will be holding open tryouts for both their Women’s and Men’s National Beach Handball teams for the ANOC World Beach Games, held in Qatar October 12 – 16, 2019. Both teams will compete at the NORCA Championships in Trinidad July 10-15, which serves as a qualifier for the WBG.

Tryouts for the Men’s team are as below:

All interested athletes are encouraged to notify the men’s head coach Michael Hinson (hinson@usateamhandball.org) or women’s head coach Juliano de Oliveira (juliano@usateamhandball.org) prior to participation in evaluation events.

There are no prerequisites to attend any on the evaluation events listed above however in order to be selected, all athletes must:

  • Have a valid USA Passport
  • Hold an advanced level of sports playing experience
  • Be available from Oct. 10 – 18, 2019

All athletes at the evaluation events will be evaluated. Athletes unable to attend an evaluation practice may contact a member of the selection committee and provide evaluation materials to be considered.

The final 10 players and alternates for each team will be selected no later than Aug 1st, 2019.
