USA WNT start their Preparation in France Germany and Luxembourg

The USA Women’s National Team is on the road again in France, Germany and Luxembourg to continue their preparation for the NORCA Championship and the Pan American Games. 

The USA Women’s National Team had the pleasure to be invited by the Luxembourg Handball Federation from April 18th to April 21st and therefore use this opportunity to organize a training camp in Europe.  Therefore, after few practices in Yutz (France), the National Team will play their first match against Kandel (a 5th division team in Germany, who will move up in 4th division next season) on Tuesday April 16th.   On Wednesday, they will play against Yutz, a third division team in the French championship.  Finally, they will end their training camp with 2 games against the Women’s National Team of Luxembourg on Friday April 19th and Saturday April 20th.

For the coaching staff, the goal of this France/Germany/Luxembourg Tour is to provide regular competition to their athletes, so the core group can gain synchronism with each other. This is also a very good opportunity for the coaches to assess the players development and game shape especially with the important international competitions coming up this summer.
