USATH today announced the selection process for the coaching staffs for USA Team Handball’s Men’s Youth and Junior National Teams for the upcoming IHF Trophy Cup North American Zone Championships, tentatively scheduled for May 7 thru May 12, 2018 in West Dundee, Illinois.
A selection committee will review applications for the Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions.
All coaches interested in being selected for any of the Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions with the Men’s Youth National Team and the Men’s Junior National Team must notify David Gascon, Director of High Performance, USATH, of their interest and availability for the assignments. Interested coaches may apply for any and all of the positions to be considered for selection. Interested coaches must notify in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, by March 5, 2018.
The notification must include the following required documents:
1. NCSI background check
2. USOC SafeSport course certificates
3. Resume of coaching history
4. Coaching certifications
Should the applicant not have a completed background check or SafeSports certificates, these matters must be brought into compliance no later than March 14, 2018. Should these requirements not be fulfilled by the required date, the selected coach(es) will be disqualified and replaced by the alternative selected coach(es). Applicants are therefore encouraged to register for their background check and complete the SafeSports tutorial immediately.
