Michael Cavanaugh Leads Colorado-Based Team to Korea for World University Games

GWANGJU, Korea -- A private, Colorado-based foundation funded a USA National team for the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju, Korea.

The participating athletes were required to be degree-seeking students from the states of Wyoming, New Mexico, or Colorado. After meeting rigorous expectations set forth by the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), USA Team Handball (USATH) approved 10 cadets, 1 recent USAFA graduate, and 1 Colorado State University student to travel and compete in the 2015 "Universaide." Team USA is to be coached by USATH CEO Michael Cavanaugh.
