USA Taekwondo announces Pan Am Games Poomsae Interest Form and Pan Am Championships Team Trials

USA Taekwondo is pleased to announce important steps towards qualifying for this year's Pan Am Games Poomsae team and Pan Am Cadet and Junior Poomsae Championships team.
 
Pan Am Games Team Trials Interest Form
 
USA Taekwondo will hold an open team trials for poomsae athletes trying out for the Pan Am Games in poomsae in June 2019 (exact date and location TBD). Due to the organizational requirements of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) and Pan American Games, USA Taekwondo requires that all athletes interested in competing at the June Pan Am Games Poomsae Team Trials to submit their information at the form below by March 17, 2019. Failure to submit interest may result in ineligibility for the Pan Am Games Team Trials. There is no commitment to compete implied by the completion of this form, and please note that this form is only for those athletes who intend to compete as part of a 5-person freestyle team.
 
 
Dates of Pan American Cadet and Junior Poomsae Championships Team Trials Announced
 
The dates of the Pan American Cadet and Junior Poomsae Taekwondo Championships were recently announced to be June 13-15, 2019 in Portland, OR. 
 
Therefore, USA Taekwondo will hold a separate team trials to select Team USA for this event. These trials will be held May 4-5, 2019 in Colorado Springs, CO.  More information will be available on https://www.usat.hangastar.com soon.
 
Athletes are still encouraged to attend State Qualifiers and USAT National Championships this year to earn Tusah ranking points, which will be likely be used for future team selections.
