Board of Directors Call for Candidates

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 14, 2015) – USA Taekwondo is beginning the process of filling the Coach Director, Club Owner Director and Referee Director positions on the Board of Directors for the new term beginning on January 1, 2019. Eligible and interested applicants are invited to complete the online application form at the link below.

The procedure for electing new Directors will be as follows:

Completed applications must be received by USA Taekwondo before 11:59pm MST on October 5, 2018 to be deemed valid.

Oct 6-16, 2018: All submitted applications are vetted and submitted to the Nominating Committee for review.

Oct 17, 2018: Vetted applicants from the Nomination Committee will be placed on the ballot.

Oct 17 – Nov 15, 2018: Election period open. Electronic and paper ballots will be sent to all eligible voters on October 17th (each ballot contains a unique, one-use code to prevent double counting/voting). IMPORTANT: Please take a moment at this time to login to your membership profile to ensure that your email and postal addresses are correct and up to date. 

 

November 1: An email reminder will be sent to those who have not yet voted. Note: the system generates this protected mailing list and staff cannot see who has or hasn’t voted at any point in the process.

 

Nov 15, 2018: The final results will be tallied, including total number of votes cast for each candidate.

 

Nov 16, 2018: USA Taekwondo will announce the results.

 

Jan 1, 2019: New board members take office.
