Ed Hogshead

No one could predict the impact when Santa Claus brought my family a table tennis table in 1968.  I was instantly hooked and have been for the past 45 years.  In fact, my love was so great that I joined the US Army in 1974 so I could travel to Germany to play table tennis in the organized league system.  Competing in this wonderful league system supported by strong clubs with sponsors was one of the best experiences of my life.

Now, as a member of the USA Board of Directors, it would be great to apply the knowledge from the German Table Tennis Club and League Systems to grow USA Table Tennis.  It will take a great deal of work and help from many.  I look forward to working with everyone and establishing new friends as we work together to make this happen.
