In increased efforts to aid USA Table Tennis athletes, the High Performance Committee has decided on the distribution of the USATT Performance Pathway Grants.

The grants are intended to bolster the financial support of USATT’s brightest talents in their endeavors to represent the United States in domestic and international table tennis competitions.

As determined by the High Performance Committee, the new model of the USATT Performance Pathway Grants — $32,000 for able-body athletes will be allocated as follows:

(i) Designated Players Ranked in ITTF Top 50 (1 male and 1 female) receive a total of 70% of the available funding;

(ii) Designated Players 19 Years of Age and Over (3 Males, 3 Females) receive a total of 20% of the available funding; and

(iii) Designated Players Under the Age of 19 (1 Male, 1 Female) receive 10% of the available funding.

Allocation of USATT Performance Pathway Grants for Para athletes is to be decided by the Para High Performance Committee and Para High Performance Director.

Increased funding for the top table tennis players in America will continue to be at the forefront of HPC goals to assist USATT athletes. The USATT Performance Pathway Grants serve as another step towards that goal.
