2020 All-American Awards Update

In September of 2019, USATT's High Performance Committee in consultation with USATT and the Athletes Advisory Council introduced the Table Tennis All-American Awards for those US Junior and Cadet players who were excelling on the national table tennis stage. In 2019, A total of 80 awards were granted for Junior and Cadet athletes for both genders, with the National Ranking Tournament points system deciding the winners.

As we know, 2020 was a very difficult year with no ranking tournaments for juniors nor national championships due to Covid-19. Thus, USATT will re-institute the All-American award program in 2021 based on participation in the 2021 Nationals and 2021 National Team trials. We encourage all players to participate in the 2021 state and regional qualifiers for the Nationals plus 2021 National Team Trials.

USATT is committed to honoring our hardworking young stars and seeks to make sure there is a transparent and fair process for the All-American award winners.
