Ellen DeGeneres is making moves to take her table tennis game to the next level and has had some help from two time US Olympic Table Tennis player Tawny Banh to 'help sharpen her skills'. Ellen is known as an avid fan of the game and has been known to compete with guests that join her on her incredibly popular show. In a tweet earlier today, Ellen dropped the line 'you've been warned', a clear sign that she's ready to bring her A-game.
We are delighted that Ellen is taking a keen interest in the sport, especially considering her values align with table tennis which is a sport well known for it's role in world diplomacy and as a 'no boundaries' sport which reaches across age, physical ability, gender, race and religious beliefs.
Best of luck with your training Ellen, we'll reserve a spot for you in the 2020 US Olympic Trials ;) #teamusa
