2012 US Olympian Lily Zhang (Palo Alto, CA) won the 2014 US National Team Trials on March 7th at Texas Wesleyan University. In a battle of London teammates, Zhang beat Erica Wu (Arcadia, CA) by the scores of 9, 8, 5, -9, 7 in the first tournament of the competition.
Zhang a senior at at Palo Alto High School will participate in her 6th World Championship in Tokyo, Japan on April 28 to May 5 along with Prachi Jha (San Jose, CA), Crystal Wang (Boyds, MD), Erica Wu, and Angela Guan (San Jose, CA).

Olympian Timothy Wang (Houston, TX) earned March's AOM honors by winning the 2014 US National Team Trials held at Texas Wesleyan University on March 7-9. In a series of single-elimination competitions, Wang beat junior star Kanak Jha (San Jose, CA) 6, 9, 8, -7, 8 in the finals on the first day to take the top spot.
Wang will participate in his 5th World Championships when he leads the US Men’s Team of Adam Hugh (Dunellen, NJ), Yahao Zhang (Forth Worth, TX), Jimmy Butler (Houston, TX) and Kanak Jha in Tokyo, Japan. The current US National Singles Champion, Wang plays out of the India Community Center (ICC) in Milpitas, CA.
