BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT-LARGE AND CLUB POSITIONS VOTING PROCEDURES

AND RELEASES CANDIDATES STATEMENTS OF INTEREST

USATT Will Launch Voting Process

For Two At-Large Director Positions and One Club Director Position on October 29

 

(Colorado Springs, CO – October 16, 2020) – USA Table Tennis (“USATT”), the National Governing Body for the sport of table tennis, today announced the voting procedures for open positions on the organization’s Board of Directors. The election process for two At-Large Director positions and one Club Director position will launch on October 29 and conclude at 11:59 pm US Mountain Time on December 13, 2020.

 

USATT Adult General Members (age 18 or older) who are currently active and were active members at least sixty days before the Record Date of the election (October 29, 2020) are eligible to vote. An electronic ballot will be sent to each eligible voting member. USATT members are encouraged to contact Headquarters to ensure that the organization has an accurate email address on file.

 

There are two available At-Large Board positions. The Ballot for the At-Large Director positions will include four candidates: (i) Thomas Hu; (ii) Lee Kondo; (iii) Khoa Nguyen; and (iv) Dan Reynolds. The electronic Ballot will permit eligible voting members to cast one vote for up to two different candidates. Eligible voting members can cast just one vote for one candidate, if the member so elects. The top two candidates at the final vote tally will earn the At-Large spots on the USATT Board.

There is one Club Board position available on the USATT Board. The Ballot for the Club Board Position will present two candidates: (i) Michael Babuin; and (ii) Will Shortz. Eligible voting members will be permitted to cast a single vote for one of the two candidates. The top vote recipient will earn the Club Position on the USATT Board.
