USATT Calling for Independent Director Nominations for Interim Board of Directors

USA Table Tennis, the National Governing Body for the sport of Table Tennis - as recognized by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, is currently in the process of seating a new Interim Board of Directors as requested by the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The Interim Board will serve until June 1, 2020, or until a new Board of Directors is seated according to USATT’s bylaws. USATT intends to seat the Interim Board by January 31, 2020, as requested by the USOPC.

As part of this process, USATT is seeking three new independent directors to serve on the Interim Board, with the possibility of continuing as part of the organization’s new Board of Directors after the Interim Board’s term of service. The USATT Nominating and Governance Committee is conducting a public call for expressions of interest for the position of interim independent directors. Independent director candidates must meet the standards of independence described in Article 7.7 and the qualifications for service outlined in Article 7.4 of the USATT bylaws.
