USA Table Tennis to Host Virtual Town Hall Meeting

With Club Owners and Administrators

CEO Virginia Sung Will Address and Seek Input from Club Leaders in

UberConference Video Meeting on Monday, April 13 @ 2 pm US Mountain Time

(Colorado Springs, CO – April 10, 2020) – USA Table Tennis (“USATT”), the National Governing Body for the sport of table tennis, today announced that Chief Executive Officer Virginia Sung will address USATT Member Club owners, administrators, and operators in a virtual town hall style meeting on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm US Mountain Time.

The meeting, which will be held on UberConference by Dialpad (access information below), will seek to address concerns of USATT Member Club owners and administrators regarding the business realities and difficulties associated with restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It goes without saying that everyone’s primary concern during this pandemic is the health, safety and welfare of our society at large,” stated USATT Chief Executive Officer Virginia Sung. “But there is also a concurrent concern regarding the impact that the restrictions imposed as a result of this pandemic have had on businesses associated with table tennis, not the least of which are the operations of our member clubs. The purpose of this meeting is to reach out to the persons running these clubs and listen and learn about their concerns and determine what can be done by our organization to address and help alleviate these problems.”

Please note that the UberConference video will be limited to the first 100 persons accessing the source. If there are a significant number of persons who are unable to access the meeting due to the restricted capacity, USATT will host a follow up meeting later in the week. Please also note, however, that USATT intends to record Monday’s meeting and to publicly post that recording.
