Ian Seidenfeld and Jenson Van Emburgh have both been selected by ITTF Para to compete at the ITTF Para Table Tennis World Championships in Slovenia, this year in October. Seidenfeld made the cut on world ranking, having some very impressive results across 2017 in particular, including a win over the 2016 Paralympic silver medalist. Van Emburgh is a regular competitor on the international scene, having just last weekend won a gold in the team event in Bratislava at the Slovakia Para Open.
Ian will compete in the Class 6 event, while Jenson enters the field of Class 3 competitors.
The prospect of two young and talented players representing USA at the prestigious world championship event is outstanding and we congratulate both players on their selection among the best para table tennis athletes in the world. We wish them the very best of luck in their preparations over the coming months.
No doubt you will see these two exceptional young men taking the stage at the 2018 US Para Open in Las Vegas at the end of June, so be sure to watch them in action there.
Well done gentlemen!
