TEAM USA Quotes: USA after beating Ecuador 3-2 to process to the men’s team quarter finals:

Butler on retiring injured in the singles match - “Against Brazil last night I landed strangely on my foot, which strained my Achilles. I battled through the doubles, but I felt I could not play the singles so I withdrew. I hope to recover in time to play in the quarter final tonight.”

Jha on winning both his singles matches - “Going into the deciding match, I tried not to think about the pressure on me to win. I just stayed relaxed and treated it as any other match. My game plan was to serve long to the forward and just to play my normal aggressive game.

Winning these 2 important games when I am only 15 feels fantastic. We now need to start thinking about our quarter final match later tonight.”
