USA Synchro Hosts World's Largest Synchronized Swimming Event - Junior Olympic Championship

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - With only 10 days until the 2019 Junior Olympic Championship, clubs across the country are putting in the last days of preparation for this prestigious event.

More than one thousand athletes and 75 clubs will compete in this year's championship events hosted by the Town of Tonawanda Aquettes. The championship will be held at the Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness Center.

The schedule is a full eight days of competition, but the Town of Tonawanda has plenty of activities and restaurants to keep everyone entertained throughout the week. The Town of Tonawanda Aquettes have even partnered with local businesses to offer various event specials. 

The Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks and Recreation Department is also inviting all Junior Olympic athletes and families to join the 3rd of July Fireworks Celebration. This free event will be held at Kenney Field at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks start at 10 p.m. There will be food trucks and live music.

Throughout the eight days of competition, athletes and spectators will have plenty of shopping opportunities with USA Synchro partners Team IP, MOODmatcher and Jolyn. They will have items for sale at the Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness Center.

This year, Fina World Aquatics Day and Olympic Day will be celebrated during the Junior Olympic Championship. There will be a photo booth, social media challenge and lots of giveaways!
