Anne Bouley Named Athlete of the Month

Anne Bouley is the Athlete of the Month for October. 


Anne Bouley, a 16-year-old member of the Cincinnati Synchrogators, has been named the Athlete of the Month for October.

Anne is a two-time national Junior Olympic team champion who helps teach the younger swimmers on the Synchrogators, according to Julie Jasontek, the Synchrogators’ 16-19 team coach.

“Anne participates in shows around the city to introduce people to the sport, and she goes above and beyond by working hard at every practice,” Jasontek said. “She never gives less than 100 percent. She prepares by really pushing herself to be better in every aspect of the sport.”

The Cincinnati resident has a 4.0 grade point average and has been on the honor roll every semester of high school. All of her classes have been AP or honors classes, she plays cello for her high school orchestra and studies Mandarin.

Anne is also a type 1 diabetic who manages her training really well, according to Jasontek. “She inspires me every practice.”

“Anne is a team player in so many aspects of the sport. She cares for her teammates. She contributes to the team with her fantastic figures and she trains hard at every practice.”
