OSSAA High School Slow Pitch State Championships set to take place at the Softball Capital of the World®

OKLAHOMA CITY — The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex will play host to the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) High School Slow Pitch State Championships May 3-4 as 48 teams across six divisions will compete for their respective High School Slow Pitch State Championship title. Class A, 2A and 3A will take the field tomorrow, May 3 while Class 4A, 5A, and 6A will battle it out on Wednesday, May 4 as each team looks to come out on top in their division.

Class A will kick off the competition tomorrow at 10 a.m. CT with Class 2A and Class 3A starting later in the day as games will be played across all four fields at the Softball Capital of the World® with the Championship games slated for 4 p.m. CT (Class A), 5:30 p.m. CT (Class 2A) and 7 p.m. CT (Class 3A) on the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – OGE Energy Field.

 

Beginning the quest for a State Championship title on May 4, Class 6A will start things off at 10 a.m. CT with Class 4A and 5A beginning at 11:30 a.m. CT. The competition will be spread across all four fields with the Championship games taking place on OGE Energy Field at 4 p.m. CT (Class 6A), 5:30 p.m. CT (Class 4A) and 7 p.m. CT (Class 5A).

 

Live stats for Class A-3A and Class 4A-6A will be available on USASoftball.com while live streaming will also be provided for all fields through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network with a paid subscription. Tickets for the OSSAA High School Slow Pitch State Championships will be sold for $10 at OSSAA.com. Cash tickets can be purchased on-site for $13 while three dollars of each cash ticket will be distributed to the participating schools. 

 

Gates to the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex will open at 9 a.m. CT each day while the National Softball Hall of Fame and Museum and gift shop will be open for fans from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT.
