Four members of 2022 Women's National Team World Games roster set to compete in inaugural 18-game AUX Softball Season

SAN DIEGO, Calif. –– Four members of the 2022 USA Softball Women’s National Team World Games Roster will take the field tonight in San Diego, Calif. as a part of the Athletes Unlimited inaugural 18-game season of AUX Softball. Played at SDSU Softball Stadium, the condensed two-week competition will take place June 13-25 and will feature Team USA athletes Amanda Lorenz, Dejah Mulipola (2020 U.S. Olympian), Gwen Svekis and Haylie McCleney (2020 U.S. Olympian) as well as three additional members from the 2020 U.S. Olympic Softball roster - Amanda Chidester, Rachel Garcia and Taylor Edwards.

 

The inaugural 18-game season of AUX Softball will feature a total of 42 athletes with ESPN carrying all 18 games exclusively live on its networks. For viewers located in the United States, all games will be broadcasted across the ESPN network of channels. One game will appear on ESPN, four games will appear on ESPN2 and 13 games on ESPNU. Following the AUX Softball season, Lorenz, Mulipola, Svekis and McCleney will put on the Red, White and Blue for a series of exhibition games in Columbus, Ga. (July 4) and Oxford, Ala.
