OKLAHOMA CITY –– USA Softball is proud to join the Saudi Baseball and Softball Federation (SBSF) in a mutual agreement of cooperation to promote and develop grassroots programming in Saudi Arabia. Together, USA Softball and the SBSF will work to create strategic partnerships to enhance the long-term goal of growing the bat and ball sport across the globe.

“USA Softball is dedicated to upholding our longstanding commitment to growing the game of softball both here in the United States and globally,” said USA Softball Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Craig Cress. “By establishing partnerships with fellow national federations, it is our hope that we can not only develop the game at the grassroots level in Saudi Arabia but continue to provide opportunities for their athletes to represent their country at the highest level. We are honored to be able to aid in these efforts and look forward to the avenues it opens.”

As part of the agreement, USA Softball will provide guidance to the SBSF as it begins to develop while offering knowledge, developing potential academies and sharing expertise to promote and expand the game in Saudi Arabia.
