Annual USA Softball All-American Games kicks off at the Softball Capital of the World®

OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball welcomes coaches, umpires, fans and premier athletes in the 12-Under division to the sixth-annual All-American Games at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex. Slated to take place August 12-14, the games will include 360 athletes from all across the nation as 24 teams vie for the coveted Championship trophy.

Every 12-Under athlete on a USA Softball registered team for the current season was given the chance to try out for a spot on their respective Region’s All-American teams. A selection on the team instantly brands a player as one of the top athletes in the nation and is recognized as one of the highest honors a player can receive. 

 

All athletes in attendance seeking free instruction in basic fundamental skills will have the opportunity to take part in the Softball Factory Player Camp on Thursday, August 11. The USA Softball All-American Games will officially kick off the following day – Friday, August 12 – with team practices as well as individual team Q&A sessions featuring three members of the U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) – Monica Abbott, Ali Aguilar and Michelle Moultrie –followed by Opening Ceremonies at 3 p.m. CT. 

 

Pool play will commence Friday night and continue through Saturday, August 13 as teams battle it out to determine bracket play seeding. A single-elimination bracket will narrow the field on Sunday as teams go head-to-head in pursuit of a spot in the Championship Game set to take place that night at 6:30 p.m. CT on the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – OGE Energy Field. 

 

Admission will be available for purchase at the front gate of the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex, for $8 per-day with an option for a $24 weekend pass – sold exclusively on Thursday. Free, on-site parking will be available throughout the weekend while the National Softball Hall of Fame Museum and gift shop will be open for fans from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
