Details announced for 2022 USA Softball National Championships

OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball is excited to officially announce details for the 2022 USA Softball Girls’ Class A Fast Pitch National Championships and GOLD National Championships in the Girls’ Junior Olympic (JO) Division. Spread across seven states, teams will once again have the opportunity to compete for a coveted USA Softball National Championship title in their respective division. 

 

The USA Softball Girls’ 10-Under East (Monroe, La.), Girls’ 10-Under West (North Mankato, Minn.), Girls’ 12-Under (Camarillo, Calif.), Girls’ 14-Under (Evansville, Ind.), Girls’ 16-Under (Polk County, Fla.), Girls’ 16-Under GOLD (Oklahoma City, Okla.), Girls’ 18-Under (Richmond, Va.), and Girls’ 18-Under GOLD (Oklahoma City, Okla.) National Championships will take place throughout the month of July. In addition to these Girls’ Fast Pitch Class A competitions, USA Softball also conducts various tournaments throughout the country including over 80 National Championships in all divisions each year.

GOLD 16-Under & 18-Under National Championships
Previously announced by USA Softball, the 2022 16-Under and 18-Under GOLD National Championships will be held in Oklahoma City, Okla. July 17-23 with games being played at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex (2801 NE 50th Street, Oklahoma City, Okla.) and Wildhorse Park (1201 N Mustang Rd., Mustang, Okla.). The two age divisions will kick off the tournament at both complexes before competing for the coveted GOLD National Championship title at the Softball Capital of the World®.

Girls’ 10-Under Class A East Fast Pitch National Championship
The 2022 Girls’ 10-Under Class A East Fast Pitch National Championship, played at Ouachita Sportsplex in Monroe, La., will take place July 18-24. The brand-new complex opened in 2020 with two, four field pods – each equipped with turf infields and its own concessions, restrooms, officials room, and upstairs viewing deck. Girls’ 10-Under Class A West Fast Pitch National Championship

Taking place in North Mankato, Minn. from July 28-31, teams in the 2022 Girls’ 10-Under Class A West Fast Pitch National Championship will compete at Caswell Park Sports Complex. Constructed in 1985, Caswell Park is located just 75 miles southwest of Minneapolis and is a nationally recognized sporting facility for softball competitions. Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship

Set to be held in Camarillo, Calif., the 2022 Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship is scheduled for July 19-24.  For more information, teams can visit the 2022 Girls' 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship event page.
 
Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship

Beginning on July 19 and running through July 24, the 2022 Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship will be played in Evansville, Ind. At Deaconess Sports Complex. For more information, teams can visit the 2022 Girls' 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship event page.

 
Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship

Teams participating in the 2022 Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship will travel to Polk County, Fla. with games slated for July 18-23. For more information, teams can visit the 2022 Girls' 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship event page.

Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship

Taking place in Richmond, Va., the 2022 Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch National Championship will be played July 19-24 across four facilities in the Richmond area, including Dorey Park, Dumbarton Complex, Glen Allen Complex, RF&P Park. During the 2021 National Championship season, Spokane Epic raised the trophy at the Girls’ Class A 10-Under West Fast Pitch National Championship while Sparks 12U Red claimed the Girls’ Class A 12-Under Fast Pitch National Championship title. Finishing atop the Girls’ Class A 14-Under division was Virginia Unity 14U Johnson with Shockwaves Rayman taking home the trophy in the Girls’ Class A 16-Under division. At the 2021 GOLD National Championships held in Salem, Va., Finesse 16U Dreher/Lesko and Windermere Wildfire 18U-Paulson were crowned National Champions in their respective age divisions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Girls’ Class A 10-Under East Fast Pitch National Championship and Girls’ Class A 18-Under Fast Pitch National Championship were canceled.
