Region 3 | Mack Rash is a member of USA Softball of South Carolina and has been calling Girls’ Fast Pitch for 25 years. Rash began his umpiring career with the Dixie Girls and has had the opportunity of calling three state tournaments in the past 15 years. He has been a member of USA Softball for 12 years and has called two USA Softball National Championships in addition to various games at the high school level. Rash is always eager to learn and is constantly working to become a better umpire. |

Region 5 | Corey Carter, USA Softball of Oklahoma, began his umpiring career in 2001. He spent his first four years with USA Softball as a Slow Pitch umpire at Fort Hood, Texas and has since been selected to umpire seven National Championships, including Men’s Class B and C Slow Pitch National Championships and the 2020 18-Under Girls’ Fast Pitch GOLD National Championship at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. Carter is extremely involved in working with his local association and developing new umpires. He has achieved two levels of the Medals Program and is a member of the National Indicator Fraternity in addition to being a regular attendee at the USA Softball Annual Meeting. |

A former coach who enjoys watching his daughter play college softball, Meyer stays involved in the game through umpiring both Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch. He is always eager to learn as he attends local clinics and breakouts sessions in addition to spending time talking with umpires about various plays and situations. Francis has been playing softball for the past 28 years and is going on his ninth year as an umpire. He has accomplished part of his goal of earning his Elite by working his first USA Softball 18-Under GOLD National Championship. He is involved in the Medal Program and is a member of the National Indicator Fraternity. When he is not umpiring, Francis is a domestic engineer and is raising twins and a teenage boy. |
