Region 1 | Dale G. Klingensmith of USA Softball of Pennsylvania has always been a strong recruiter for all levels and an instructor for the State High School START (Students Today Are Referees Tomorrow) program for several years. He trains in the classroom and on the field, and also serves as a mentor. He attends as many clinics on and off the field and organizes many himself. |

Cleveland (Brownie) Brown of USA Softball of Maine is a tireless promoter of USA Softball in Maine. He is an umpire, JO Commissioner, husband and father of three children who he has coached. For over 20 years Brownie has worked tirelessly to organize and run many JO Tournaments in Central Maine. He has teams from Canada and all of New England coming to his invitational tournament. He provides softball opportunities for umpires, teams, players, coaches, and fans almost every weekend in the summer. No words can express the gratitude that USA Softball of Maine has for Brownie. |

Michael Kuszay of USA Softball of Massachusetts earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College and is currently employed in the Emergency Department of St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River Mass., where he began as a volunteer in his teenage years. Today, he is bravely working the front lines, treating patients, and combating the novel COVID-19 pandemic. He gives 100% effort in making sure he is well-versed in both USA rules and mechanics.

Robert Giannetti is a member of USA Softball of South Carolina. He has been a member of USA Softball as an umpire for nine years and has worked eight National Championships: four JO Girl’s Fast Pitch and four Senior Men’s Slow Pitch Championships. He is also a member of the National Indicator Fraternity and the Medals Program. |

Region 7 | Scott Baptist, USA Softball of Colorado, with his wife of 14 years, Wendy, one of the inspirations for his softball career. From age 11 to 52 Scott has umpired with USA, CHSSA, and others. He has umpired a USA National Tournament, attended a USA National Umpire School and umpired in three Colorado State Tournaments. When he is not umpiring, he is a sorority chef, loves to travel and is an avid bird photographer and fisherman. |

Region 7 | Chuck French of USA Softball of Colorado is the Deputy UIC Northern Region of Colorado. Chuck is always giving of his time to share his umpiring knowledge and experience. Chuck umpires USA Softball and CHSSA Softball and is on the UIC umpire staff for both. He is currently the President at CHSSA and umpires for the RMAC in the NCAA Western Region. |
