USA Softball National Office Seeks PHP Developer

OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, is seeking applicants for the position of PHP Developer. This individual’s primary responsibility will be supporting facilitation of several websites that provide USA Softball members with online registration, team and tournament management. This is a full-time position with the National Office and includes a benefits package.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and maintain web-based applications using PHP and MySQL
  • Define, develop, test, analyze and maintain web-based applications in conformance with business/client requirements
  • Provide technical as well as non-technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with the appropriate resources/parties to resolve them
  • Interpret and evaluate business needs to determine risks along with design apt solutions
Education and Required/Desired Skills:
  • 2+ years of PHP / MySQL experience
  • Experience with Linux servers and website hosting
  • Experience with Nginx (multiple server configuration)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel
  • Compensation dependent upon skill level and experience
