Three National Championships to kick off this weekend in Tennessee

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. — The 2020 Championship Season for USA Softball continues with the crowning of three National Champions this weekend in Hendersonville, Tenn. Hosted at Drakes Creek Park, the Men’s Super Slow Pitch National Championship will be held on August 21 while the Men’s Class AA Slow Pitch National Championship and Women’s Open Slow Pitch National Championship will take place August 22-23.

The action kicks off on Friday, August 21 at 9 a.m. CT for the Men’s Supers and concludes with the crowning of the Men’s Super Slow Pitch National Champion that evening at 6 p.m. CT with an “if-necessary” game slated for 7:30 p.m. CT.

Teams competing in the Men’s Super National Championship include: Bad Draw/Rapid Fire/Easton, Drip City/Monsta, H. Auto/Sonnys/RDD/Sprizzi/S&S/Easton, Monsta Athletics/Black Sheep and MPT/Anarchy. Free live streaming and live stats will be available throughout the entire Super Slow Pitch National Championship, and links can be found here »

 

The Men’s AA begins on Saturday, August 22 at 8:30 a.m. CT and concludes on August 23 with the Championship contest slated for 10 a.m. CT and an “if-necessary” game at 11:30 a.m. CT.

Eight teams will battle it out in the Men’s AA National Championship: Bad Draw/Rapid Fire/Easton, Bigger Than Me, Daddy Rocks/Hoffman/Ductech, Drip City/Monsta, MPT/Anarchy, Precision/Sonnys/H. Auto/Sprizzi/Bulldawg Trucking, Southern Monsta and Thunder/Chosen. The Women’s Open also begins on Saturday, August 22 at 8:30 a.m. CT and will close out the weekend in Hendersonville with the crowning of a National Champion at 11:30 a.m. CT or an “if-necessary” game at 1 p.m. CT on August 23.


Eighteen teams will compete in the Women’s Open National Championship: Backman/Team 24, Bellys/HdIns/Durbin Bowl, BSC Dynasty, Dirty Sports/Trojans/CS/Thunder, HTHF/High Octane, Karma, Lady Mojo Reloaded, Lady SNI/OA Labs/DeMarini/Louisville Slugger, LaFamiglia/Easton/Riot, Level Up, Low Bobs/Shirts & Logos, On Point, SFK/ASP/A&S Constructors, Smash It Sports/Derby Girls/Sonnys/STG/Easton, SNC/DBBrand, TDB/A-1 Glass/MAL/Easton, Team 615 and Traders Reloaded Klutch. All three events serve as an identification opportunity for individuals wishing to be a member of the USA Softball Slow Pitch National Teams. Those teams include: Men’s Slow Pitch National Team, Women’s Slow Pitch National Team, Men’s Futures Slow Pitch National Team and Women’s Futures Slow Pitch National Team.
