OKLAHOMA CITY — USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, is proud to announce Turface Athletics as an official supplier for the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex. Turface Athletics is a leading manufacturer of soil amendments and sports field conditioners with products and services that maximize sports field safety and performance.

“The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex prides itself in hosting world-class softball competitions, which requires the best-of-the-best products to keep our facility in pristine condition” said USA Softball Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Craig Cress. “Our partnership with Turface Athletics provides the USA Softball field crew with products to help maintain and enrich the playing surfaces at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex.”

The Illinois-based company has provided groundskeepers, coaches and volunteers with the solutions that result in safer and playable fields for over 50 years.

“Turface Athletics is thrilled to be able to support USA Softball, an organization that is actively increasing participation in the game of softball for athletes at all levels,” said brand manager for Turface Athletics, Jeff Langner. “We are committed to providing safe and playable fields with our comprehensive line of field maintenance products, and are confident that through this partnership we can help to give USA Softball athletes the best experience possible every time they take the field.”

Since it was built in 1987, the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex is the Mecca of Softball®, and is home to some of the most outstanding softball events in the United States, including the NCAA Women’s College World Series (WCWS). The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex has hosted the event since 1990 and is scheduled as the home of the WCWS through 2035.

Known as the Softball Capital of the World®, the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex reached this status not only from the NCAA WCWS, but due to the numerous other events, both national and international, with events booked for 30 weekends each year.  Together, the events attract more than 150,000 fans a year to the stadium, making it a year-round operation and destination for softball fans and athletes.

“We are proud to announce our sponsorship with Turface Athletics as the supplier of field conditioner products for the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex,” said USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex Sports Turf Manager, Chuck White. “I am a long-time customer of Turface products because of the quality and consistency of their materials. Their products help us prepare the skinned infield surface on all the infields and make them more manageable and assist in managing the moisture level of the infield surface in both dry and wet conditions. They also help create a more consistent surface to field a ground ball and slide, making a safer surface for athletes to compete on. I love the color and integrity of their Pro League Series materials for our championship surfaces. We look forward to working with Turface and hope our working relationship continues for many years to come.”
