USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex to host Big 12 Conference Championship

OKLAHOMA CITY - The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex – OGE Energy Field – INTEGRIS Field will play host to the Big 12 Softball Conference Championship May 11-12, USA Softball announced today.  The conference championship will feature local top-seeded teams, No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 2 Oklahoma State. Additional teams include No. 3 Baylor, No. 4 Texas, No. 5 Texas Tech and No. 6 Iowa State.

Featuring the top six seeded teams in the conference, the conference championship kicks off at 11 a.m. CT today on OGE Energy Field and INTEGRIS Field. The Big 12 Softball Championship format consists of pool play with six teams divided into two pools. Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Texas are in Pool A, while Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech are in Pool B. Teams start off with pool play on the opening day of the Championship with the results of pool play rounds determine bracket play.  The third-place teams in each pool will play at 11 a.m. CT on OGE Energy Field, followed by the second-place teams in each pool at 1:30 p.m. CT on OGE Energy Field.  The Championship culminates with the first-place teams will compete for the Big 12 title at 4 p.m. on OGE Energy Field.

Tickets can be purchased online at Fans who purchase their tickets online will print their tickets at home or download them to their phone. Those fans will exchange their tickets for wristbands at the front gates of USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex, in order to come and go throughout the day. The ticket office will open at 9:30 a.m. CT on Friday and Saturday for fans to purchase tickets on-site.

All-session adult tickets are $25 while all-session youth, student and senior tickets are $15. Single-session adult tickets are $14 with youth, student and senior tickets on sale for $9. Groups of 10 or more can also purchase daily tickets at $9 per day, while children two and under are free.
