Big 12 Softball Championship bracket announced

Irving, Texas –The 2018 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship has been set, taking place May 11-12 at USA Hall of Fame Stadium Complex in Oklahoma City.

The top-six teams in the conference will descend on Oklahoma City to compete in a combination of pool play format (Friday) and bracket play (Saturday). The championship game is slated to begin at 4 p.m. CT Saturday, May 12 on FS2.


Oklahoma earned the No. 1 overall seed after going undefeated in Big 12 play. Oklahoma State (12-6 Big 12) locked in the No. 2 seed followed by No. 3 Baylor (11-6 Big 12), No. 4 Texas (10-7 Big 12), No. 5 Texas Tech (5-13 Big 12) and No. 6 Iowa State (4-13 Big 12).


Adult all-session tickets are priced at $25, while single-day tickets are $14. Student, youth and senior tickets are $15 for all-session and $9 for daily admission. Group packages are also available at a rate of $9 per person for a daily pass when a minimum of 10 tickets are purchased.

Seven conference members sponsor the sport of softball - Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas Tech. The Big 12 softball championship returned in 2017 after a seven year hiatus. Oklahoma was crowned the 2017 Big 12 Softball Champions, before going on to the win its second straight national title.
