Members of the 2018 USA Softball Women's National Team take the stage at the 2018 NCAA Women's College World Series! Find out how athletes who will don the Red, White and Blue this summer fared during Day Four of the #WCWS.
Sis Bates - Washington - Sophomore - Infield
Sis Bates helped lead the Washington Huskies to the NCAA WCWS Championship Series for the fourth time in program history in a 3-0 win over Oklahoma. Bates, who went 1-for-2 with one run scored, came around to score what would be the game-winning run in the first inning after reaching on a bunt single. Washington will face Florida State in the best 2-out-of-3 series for the National Championship title.
Rachel Garcia - UCLA - Sophomore - Pitcher
Rachel Garcia got the start in the first meeting between UCLA and Florida State, but her seven strikeout performance and 1-for-3 outing at the plate with one RBI was not enough to get the Bruins the W. After dropping a 3-1 decision to the Seminoles to head to the "if-necessary" game, Garcia and the Bruins would drop a 12-6 decision to FSU to bring their season to a close.
Bubba Nickles - UCLA - Sophomore - Outfield
Bubba Nickles had a 4-for-6 outing at the plate in the two-games against Florida State while her defensive play in outfield was SportsCenter Top 10-worthy. Robbing a home run against FSU, Nickles proved her versatility in the field. In total, Nickles scored three runs with a home run and one RBI in the two-games against the Seminoles. UCLA finished their season with a 58-7 record.
