Day 2 of Pool Play brought all the excitement expected by the best 14U, 16U and 18U teams in the country! Check out the best storylines from the day in five photos below.

Oklahoma Athletics- 14U (beat Texas Glory 2-0)

Pitchers started the morning strong- in the 8:30 a.m. games, pitchers kept their opponents under three runs in eight of the 12 matchups. The 14-Under pitchers shutout their opponents in half of their morning outings.

KC Zephers (beat Hatters Gold, 7-4, scoring first runs in the second inning)

Early scoring defined the morning games-- all but five of the morning's (8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.) game winners scored their first runs before the end of the third inning.

Scrapyard Internationals- 18U (9-1 win over PA Chaos)

With Scrap Yard's 9-1 win over PA Chaos, the team has only allowed three runs to score through pool play, tied for the least allowed by any 18U team in the JO Cup. Scrap Yard has only committed three errors in their three games.

Hatters Gold- 16U (won 14-2 over the Louisville Lady Sluggers)

Both the Hatters Gold and Texas Dirt Divas kicked off their afternoon play with double-digit wins, each scoring 10 runs in a single inning, the most in one inning by any division at the 2018 JO Cup.

Gametime Stars- 18U
