USA faces NPF All Stars

USA faces NPF All-Stars
Oklahoma City, OK---The USA Softball Women’s National Team will face its toughest competition of the 2004 ‘Aiming for Athens’ tour tonight when it faces the National Profastpitch All-Stars at Don E. Porter Hall of Fame Stadium in doubleheader match-up. The U.S. has compiled a 48-0 record on the tour while outscoring its opponents 439-11. 

The East and West All-Stars will face off on Wednesday in its official All-Star game at 7 p.m. The NPF East All-Stars will consist of standouts from the Akron Racers, New England Riptide and NY/NJ Juggernaut, while the NPF West All-Stars will include all-stars from the Heat, Sunbirds and Texas Thunder.
The USA squad will wrap-up the ‘Aiming for Athens’ this week as it travels to Steven Point, WI and Stratford, CT for its final two stops on the tour before departing for Athens on July 28th.
