2019 Women's Roller Derby Team USA Announced

USA Roller Sports and the National Team Coaching Staff are pleased to announce the players who will represent the United States of America as part of the Women's Roller Derby Team USA, affiliated to the U.S. Olympic Committee and World Skate.

The members of the Women's Team USA squad will have the honor to represent the United States at the 2019 World Roller Games, where they will try to defend their crown and bring home a second gold medal.

The World Roller Games, a spectacular event organized by World Skate, brings together in one city the world championships of eleven roller disciplines: artistic, speed, rink hockey, inline hockey, roller freestyle, skateboarding, inline freestyle, scooter, inline downhill, roller derby and inline alpine. This year, the event will be hosted by the city of Barcelona, Spain during the month of July and will be broadcasted on television and online. It will feature more than 4,500 athletes from more than 100 countries competing at several venues, including the city of Mollet de Valles, where the roller derby tournament will be hosted.

This year, Team USA has a new Coaching Staff that includes two World Champions from the 2017 World Roller Games that have now transitioned into coaching. Head Coach Devon Tamaccio will take the lead of the team and will be assisted by Dakota Prosch, a perfect combination of defensive and offensive expertise. To defend their Championship status, the Coaching Staff has put together a skilled and powerful group of athletes, combining experience and youth.
