2021 USAR National High School Championships Cancelled

By Connor Shane | Dec. 07, 2020, 8:30 a.m. (ET)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, USA Racquetball must cancel the 2021 National High School Championships that were scheduled for February in St. Louis.

St. Louis has been the proud home of this championship event, along with Portland, Oregon, for 20+ years. Our partners at Vetta Racquetball Sports have always been fantastic hosts for this tournament and had been working diligently to assess venue availability and city regulations. At this time, no tournaments have been permitted in St. Louis County since last March.

This news is disheartening for many as we all know so well that our young athletes are the future of our sport, but protecting the health and well-being of all concerned is our topmost priority.

We are working to put timelines, locations, and logistics into place that will facilitate a safe return to competition at USAR indoor championship events. Further details regarding dates and locations of the remaining 2021 USAR National Championships schedule will be published at the beginning of the year and/or as soon as they come available.

In the meantime, we wish everyone good health and a calm and peaceful holiday season.
