Lexi York Wins High School Nationals

Lexi York captured her fourth consecutive Girls Singles title at the 2015 U.S. National High School Championships.


Lexi York of Milwaukie, Ore., 17, a senior at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory High School, captured the Girls Singles title at the 2015 U.S. National High School Championships held in St. Louis, Mo.

With her win in the finals, York has qualified for a position on the U.S. Junior National Racquetball Team. York won her fourth consecutive Singles title, the most that any player can win.  Adrienne Fisher is the only other player, boy or girl, who has accomplished this feat, winning from 2000-2003.  York, a member of the Multnomah Athletic Club, defeated Erika Manilla of Centennial, Colo. and a junior at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colo. in the finals with scores of 15-9, 15-10. 

York is also a four-time Oregon State High School Champion.
