2016 National Doubles Racquetball Championships

Date: Wednesday-February 10 thru Sunday-February 14, 2016

The 2016 USA Racquetball National Doubles Championships will be held February 10-14, 2016 in Tempe, AZ on the campus of Arizona State University. This is the sport's premiere doubles tournament and everyone is invited to play. The tournament is presented by Penn and offers doubles divisions for skill, and age+skill, Centurion and Classic Racquet for men and women as well as Mixed divisions.

  • U.S. TEAM SINGLES QUALIFYING DIVISION - A new addition to the National Doubles event this year. These divisions comprise one of three Singles Qualifying events towards a position on the U.S. Team. The U.S. Team Doubles Qualifying Divisions will also be held as usual.
  • CLASSIC RACQUET DIVISIONS - Have some fun and go back in time with the new Classic Racquet divisions. Racquet length is limited to 18.5 inches. Break out the old duds and compete for the best dressed in the divisions. Don’t have a classic racquet? Hit up your local thrift store or borrow one from the Championship desk.
  • AWARDS AND PRIZE MONEY - The Men's and Women's U.S. Team Doubles Qualifying division and the U.S. Team Singles Qualifying division will offer prize money. The Men's and Women's U.S. Team Doubles Qualifying division also determines one-year appointments to the U.S. National Team that will be competing in international and world events.
  • THE ROAD TO WORLDS - The 2016 National Doubles Championships will identify the Men’s and Women’s Doubles Teams who are likely to represent the United States at the 2016 IRF World Championships.
  • CHAMPIONSHIPS MEDALS - The amateur divisions will be awarded with the newly designed National Championship medal for 1st through 4th place finishers.

The National Doubles will also be offering the Centurion Doubles, (Open, A, B, and C skill division) the combined age of both players that must add to be at least 100 years of age or more.
