Naomi Ross and Seamus Millet Lead Team USA in Mixed Relay

Kladno, Czech Rep. - Naomi Ross and Seamus Miller represented Team USA in the mixed relay, the final event at the UIPM Junior World Championships in Kladno, Czech Republic. 
 
The competition started with the 2 x 100 swimming relay. Naomi and Seamus performed really well. Both of them achieved lifetime bests. Naomi swam 1:08.9 and Seamus get 59.92 sec. 
 
The next event was fencing. Team USA had a rough start having only two victories from the first 10 bouts. After that, Naomi caught on fire with 10 straight wins. Seamus added another 5 victories. It allowed them to move to the 7th position in fencing.
 
In the riding event, Seamus had a perfect ride. Naomi rode also great having just two mistakes in her first ride at the international competition. 
 
Team USA continued a great competition in the laser run despite some problems with overheated pistols. Overall our team finished in 14th place beating strong teams from Poland Mexico and other countries. Both Seamus and Naomi are only 19 years old. They have a great future at Junior events for the next two years.
