2015 Junior PKF Championships Wrap Up

USA Karate had 78 athletes representing Team USA at the 2015 Junior PKF Championships in Santa Cruz, Bolivia last week August 27-29, 2015. We are proud to announce that Team USA placed SECOND in the overall medal count! We had 22 total medals, 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 7 Bronze. 

Thank you to all of the families, coaches and supporters of our athletes that helped make this trip a great success! Another thank you to our coaching staff, Brian Mertel, Jim Buchen, John Limcaco, Shannon Nishi and Cheryl Murphy who did a great job with our athletes! Also a big thank you to the Greenville Health Systems who provided our excellent medical staff and to our Team Leads, Jessica Luna and Laura Roberts! Lastly, a huge thank you to Juan Carlos Fernandez of the US Embassy for assisting our team throughout the week!
