I am a Champion.
Biggest Win. Why? *
I have 2 wins that I am extremely happy with as of right now. The first is the 2012 USA National Championship title and Gold Medal in the -60 kg kumite division. That was a big year, it was a World Championship year and proved to be awesome.

The second was the 2013 USA Karate Open Gold Medal performance in the -67 kg kumite division. There were a lot of world class competitors there and I had blast fighting them. To come out with gold was an amazing feeling.

I feel as though I have some more titles, and Golds to win. North American Cup, Pan Ams, Some other Opens, WC's and WGs. This will complete me.
What do you love about competition? *
I love pushing myself to the limit and playing against the best out there. It's awesome to compete with someone who has a love for the game as much as I do. I love learning about myself and testing myself through karate, and improving. I love the feeling of being in the zone, and transcending to that reality.

I love being able to express myself freely on the tatami, and it being the purest form of self there is.
Favorite way to relax? *
I enjoy watching some shows or movies, making music, spending time with family and friends, and playing other sports.
Advice for the youth athletes in karate? *
Never give up. You never know how far you'll get until you go as far as you can.
Where do you get your inspiration from? *
I draw my inspiration from God and Jesus. They grant me each day to live and love, and have given me the opportunity to do something I truly love, and that's a blessing. Thank you.
