Jeff Stout Named All-American
Congratulations to Jeff Stout, who was just named NSCA All-American High-School Athlete of the Year for Martial Arts (Judo). He was recognized for his achievement in the development of improved athletic performance through strength and conditioning excellence.
Jeffrey has had a very successful year competing in the Olympic sport of judo. During the summer of 2018, Jeff won 3 gold medals at the INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR OLYMPIC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in Spokane WA, the UNITED STATES JUDO ASSOCIATION & FEDERATION NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in West Palm Beach, FL, and The US OPEN in Ft. Lauderdale, FL,” said David Fukuda. “In addition to his judo-specific training, Jeff works hard on his strength and conditioning. At 200lbs Jeff’s 1RM PR for Clean (300lbs), Squat (370lbs), deadlift (435lbs) and Bench Press (315lbs) make him one of the strongest Judo athletes in the USA for his age and weight division. As one of his coaches, I believe his strength training has helped him to succeed in Judo.”

Over Easter Sunday, Lincoln went to a international veteran tournament in Savoie, France, after six fights, Lincoln had five wins and one loss and ended up third place (by points). "The French master tournament system is something new for me because they try to maximize each participant's number of matches," explains Han. "We first play three matches in a four-man pool and then go to the tournament format, I had one loss so I had to settle for a bronze medal. I was the first American to participate in this event and the organizers were very hospitable." In addition to the medal, each medalist was also given a bottle of the local white wine!
"I would highly recommend this event to other master players." -- Lincoln Han
