IJF Academy Announcement

Jan. 09, 2019, 10:55 a.m. (ET)

Please see an important announcement from the IJF Academy below:

As we have announced earlier, the IJF Academy is now an autonomous Higher Education Institute. Since the 27th August 2018, the Academy is licensed by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education (NCFHE), member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

After 5 years in operation, we have started to review and upgrade our courses and in 2020 we will be starting a new structure.

Due to this upgrade, we will need to close all pending courses and we are giving all those students who have finished all their online modules, thus showing as 100%, the opportunity to qualify by attending one of our 14 centers around the world to finish their practical sessions.

Students can only attend these final exams if they are nominated by their National Federation, member of the IJF.

When the new system comes into effect, the old theory results will no longer be valid and all students who want to obtain the new certification will have to start from the beginning.

On 25th February, we will be starting with the last semester for the “old” system, where the following courses will be available for the last time:

  1. Level 1 – Instructor in the following languages: Croatian, English, French, Georgian, Hungarian, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Arabic
  2. Level 2 – Coach, for those who already finished level 1 and have the necessary qualifications, in the following languages: English, French, Georgian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Hungarian & Italian.
  3. Certified Judo Manager course fully online in English.

PLEASE NOTE:  COACHES WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE MUST BE ACTIVE/CURRENT USA JUDO COACH CERTIFIED.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS: FRIDAY FEBRUARY 8 BY 5PM MT.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Corinne Shigemoto at Corinne.Shigemoto@usajudo.us or 719-866-4730 asap.
