CDC Requirements for Referees

Dec. 19, 2018, 10:03 a.m. (ET)

Effective January 1, 2019, all USA Judo certified referees must have a current CDC Heads Up concussion certificate to be placed on the active roster.  February 1 is the deadline to complete the course and submit a copy of your certificate to the national office.  The Heads Up certificate/training is good for two years.

This is a free online course and you can access the course by logging into your USA Judo profile.  Once logged in, you will see a button on the left side titled "concussion training".  Clicking here will take you to the course and at completion, you can upload a copy of your certificate, which once approved by the national office, will automatically be verified in your profile.  You can also email a  copy of your certificate directly.

If you have previously taken the course, you can verify if you it has been entered in your profile by logging on and clicking on the certifications button.

Thank you and please feel free to contact Corinne Shigemoto at Corinne.Shigemoto@usajudo.us or 719-866-4730 if you have any questions.
