  • Concept of optimal strength

Lunch - 12:00-1:30

Short term periodization - 1:30 - 4:00

  • How much strength training can we realistically do?
  • How do you integrate with grappling training?
  • Best loading parameters for grappling sports
  • Choice and order of exercise
  • When and how to change programs

Break - 4:00 – 4:30

Practical sessions - 4:30 – 6:00

  • Methods of strength development for the lower body will be shown. Student participation is a must. Bring your workout gear.

    Long Term Periodization - 10:00 - 12:00

  • How to periodize for:
    • A year
    • An Olympic cycle

    Lunch - 12:00 - 1:30

    Practical sessions - 1:30 - 4:00

  • Methods of strength development for the upper body will be shown. Student participation is a must. Bring your workout gear.

    Break - 4:00 - 4:30

    Practical Program Design - 4:30 - 6:00

  • In this lecture, you will learn and be tested on your ability to write effective programs.
