IJF Academy Is In Session

Judoka from around the world traveled to Colorado Springs, CO to train at the IJF Academy’s on Mat Session hosted at the Olympic Training Center on May 8-14, 2017. The 5-day program included rehearsal and assessment of multiple techniques including: Ashi-waza, Koshi-waza, Te-waza, Osaekomi, Tachi-waza, Shime-waza, Kansetsu-waza, and Nage no Kata.

About the IJF Academy: The International Judo Federation established the Academy in 2013 to provide Professional Education in all sectors of Judo. These courses are delivered through a blended program, with all the theoretical lessons provided online and the practical sessions ran in one or two weekly sessions.
