Olympic Day Celebration
Olympic Day, held annually on June 23, is celebrated by millions of people in more than 160 countries. Olympic Day’s mission is to promote fitness, well-being, culture and education, while promoting the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect. The Olympic Day pillars – move, learn and discover – are promoted in every corner of the globe. In the month of June, communities across the United States will celebrate Olympic Day 2017 through educational programming and other activities.
Kick-off summer with an Olympic Day themed practice. Encourage friends and family to try judo for free at your dojo.
This is one of three annual opportunities USA Judo would like clubs to open the door to their community to bring awareness to the sport and help grow judo at the local level.
