USA Judo’s Board of Directors approved the participation of non-American citizens who are legal permanent residents of the United States to compete in all junior level national competitions that are non-trials or qualifiers for a US Team to compete internationally. NO WALK UP REGISTRATION AT THE 2019 YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
On January 25, 2019, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) informed USA Judo that walk up registrations are not allowed. USA Judo is unable to extend the registration deadline because of the requirements set by the USOC.
All athletes competing at the Youth National Championship will be required to electronically sign waivers provided by the Olympic Training Center. The waivers will be emailed to the email on file. Please make sure the email on file with USA Judo is the current email address for the athlete or athletes parents. Emails will be sent out every Friday starting Feb 8th. The forms will be signed electronically and each link will be specific to the athlete. The emailed link cannot be shared.
