Region 3 consists of several Northeast states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. The Northeast has a long tradition and history of field hockey. In fact, the sport first came to the sport area as early as the late 1800's and was one of the first ones that girls were encourage and permitted to play. Field hockey continues to grow in the Northeast and is home to many strong youth, middle school, high school, collegiate and clubs, for all ages. In 2021, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association will be voting to start a boys' high school league, leading the effort to grow boy's field hockey in the United States.

Please use the administrative manager as the main point of contact for questions around schedules, registration and other administrative needs. All questions from and around coaching Nexus or on field content should be directed to the coach manager.
