Region 10 - Central
NEXUS Region 10 Manager: Tina Edmonds
Tina Edmonds has been the USA Field Hockey Regional Manager for Region 10: Central since 2015. She started playing within the USA Field Hockey Olympic Development Pathway Program, then called Futures, in 2000 and played on multiple Junior U.S. Women's National Teams throughout her high school and college careers. She played field hockey for the University of Maryland, where she won two national championships in 2005 and 2006 and earned All-American honors in 2006.
Tina is the owner and founder of the Texas Pride field hockey club in Houston, where she has opened an indoor field hockey facility and helped many athletes to fall in love with the game and develop as athletes.
Region 10: Central covers 12 states and vast geographic area including Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. As field hockey continues to develop and grow in this region, more training sites will be added to minimize travel for NEXUS participants. Until then, Tina does her best to centralize and rotate training sites and regional tournaments to help minimize travel as much as possible.
